Disney’s Oceaneer Lab—located aboard the Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream, Disney Wonder and Disney Magic— immerses young Guests in a seafaring-themed adventure, with a hearty splash of pirate skullduggery thrown in for good measure. During their visit, little ones can participate in magical, memorable guided experiences, while also having the freedom to enjoy unstructured free time and make new friends.

Created Just for Kids

Kids of all ages can experience the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab during Open House hours.

During all other operating hours, children must meet the age requirement (3 to 10 years of age) and be fully toilet-trained to check in to Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab. Children who do not meet the age requirement or who are not fully toilet-trained may visit and participate during the Youth Activities Open House times.

Parents should note that Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Disney’s Oceaneer Lab are connected, allowing children the ability to move between the 2 spaces at times throughout the day to enjoy the various activities and offerings in both areas. Rest assured knowing that specially trained Youth Activities counselors are on hand to direct or escort your child between the 2 spaces as needed, and children ages 3 to 4 years old can participate in guided activities created just for them.

During our Youth Activities Open House times, Guests of all ages are permitted in Youth Activity spaces, including Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Disney’s Oceaneer Lab, Edge and Vibe.

Registration, Check-In and More

Pre-register your child for Disney’s Oceaneer Lab or you can register once onboard your ship.

Upon boarding the ship on Embarkation Day, both children and parents must check in at the front desk at Disney’s Oceaneer Lab or Disney’s Oceaneer Club. During this time, parents will fill out final paperwork and children will receive a Disney Cruise Line Youth Activities wristband, which grants them access to both Disney’s Oceaneer Lab and Disney’s Oceaneer Club. During this confirmation process, parents are invited to tour the facility, meet the counselors and learn more about the many activities offered. Please note that children must be fully toilet trained to be admitted to either facility.

Children with Special Needs

Children with special needs are welcome at Disney’s Oceaneer Lab. Our Youth Activity programs are available to children who are fully toilet trained, able to individually participate within our counselor-to-child ratio groups, and interact socially and comfortably with peers of their own age and physical size. We are unable to provide one-on-one counselor care, a counselor with specialty training, or counselor-assisted medical attention. Children who can self-address their personal medical needs will be able to store their medical supplies at the Youth Activities desk. Additional participation guidelines and restrictions may apply and are established to provide a safe and secure youth entertainment environment. Open House hours are also available so the entire family can join the fun and participate together.

Dine and Play

Dine and Play lets kids ages 3 through 10 enjoy dinner and then head off to play, while you relax and enjoy a leisurely dining experience. If your child is registered for Disney’s Oceaneer Club or Disney's Oceaneer Lab, simply let your servers know that your child is participating in Dine and Play and they’ll expedite your child’s meals. Then bring your child to the front of the restaurant between 9:00 PM and 9:15 PM and a Youth Activities Counselor will escort them to the club.

Please note: Dine and Play is only available during the 8:15 PM dinner seating (subject to change by 15 minutes). Available on every evening of the cruise except embarkation day. Dine and Play is not available for sailings on the Disney Adventure.

Youth Activities Open House

Our Open House is an opportunity for Guests of all ages to participate in a variety of exciting activities hosted at Disney’s Oceaneer Lab and Disney’s Oceaneer Club throughout the cruise. During these Open Houses, both facilities will still be available for those looking to check their children into care. Please check the Personal Navigator newsletter or Disney Cruise Line Navigator app while onboard the ship for specific dates and times.
